<image:caption>President/Co-Founder Martin Ganda is the helmsman of Seeds of Africa Fund. Only a few years ago I so happened to be one of Africa’s underprivileged children, unable to go to school until an American pen pal, Caitlin, fortuitously financed my education using earnings from her babysitting job. Today I live in New York and have been very fortunate to work and connect with people that I never dreamt of, thanks to Caitlin whose investment in my education tremendously transformed my entire life. I understand that education has been the key to much of my life, and have always wanted to find a way to create similar educational opportunities for young students from poor families in Zimbabwe. Simba and I finally came up with a way to do so on a large scale when we founded the Seeds of Africa Fund in 2007, which financially supports poor students in Zimbabwe by providing them with the means to attend school. A few dollars from Caitlin’s babysitting job saved me from drowning in the pool of poverty that I was destined to die in. Through Caitlin’s help, I was able to finish my education. I hope you join us in transforming the lives of students in Zimbabwe who cannot afford education by investing in Seeds of Africa Fund.</image:caption>

<image:caption>General Legal Counsel Growing up in rural Zimbabwe, Sarudzai was struck by some of the economic inequalities and social barriers that limited many young girls and boys the ability to reach their full potential. Although her family was always supportive of her academic pursuits, many of her contemporaries did not have such support and have remained trapped in what seems to be a vicious cycle — little education leading to increased poverty. Sarudzai strongly believes education is an integral part to the well being of an individual, society and the nation as a whole. Sarudzai worked as a senior state attorney in the Ministry of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs in Zimbabwe. Although much of her activities have been related to her field of study, she engages with a broader range of issues of interest to her: for example, she coordinated a joint program between the Zimbabwe Ministry of Justice and Medicins Sans Frontiers that focused on educating the local community about the law as it relates to domestic violence and child abuse issues. Sarudzai holds a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Law from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Yeshiva University and a Bachelor of Laws (Honors) Degree from the University of Zimbabwe. She is an active member of American Intellectual Property Organization. Sarudzai is fluent in English and Shona and understands Ndebele.

"I'm always wishing for opportunities to do more for those who can't help themselves, to help others in the same way that so many other people helped me". "Education gives hope because it's one thing in the world in which people can advance in life not because of who they are, where they are from or who they know, but how hard they work and how well they engage their minds". "The world could learn a thing or two from a former mentor and sponsor of mine who once said Success is not all about how high you can climb, it’s also about how many people you bring along" "I hope for the future that has everyone playing their part in giving children in the dark, forgotten parts of the world a shot at a better life through education".</image:caption>
