How We Work

Our Strategy
We believe in providing localized and friendly assistance to those who need in the most. Our strategy includes making sure all the stakeholders in the community we are helping support our efforts and they are complementing them. We have devised two different strategies for primary schools and secondary schools students:

Primary School Strategy - We identify small catchment areas which need our help the most through our volunteers and team members on the ground. We then development relationships with Headmasters, educations administrators and teachers in those areas and they will help us to identify student in most need of help and with the greatest potential. Seeds of Africa Foundation then funds all the school expenses for those students. Additionally, Seeds of Africa Foundation helps the schools with other education resources that maybe lacking like books, pens, etc to enhance the general learning experience.

Secondary School Strategy – Again we identify catchment areas which need our help the most (a secondary school may include several primary school catchment areas within it). We then identify up to five secondary schools in the area that have the track record of high performance. Through relationships with all stakeholders in the area, we identify the students with the most need and potential to succeed. Seeds of Africa Foundation then funds all the school expenses for the identified students to go to the identified schools.

In both strategies we use constant feedback and evaluation to monitor the progress of the students and constant mentoring to ensure they succeed. Throughout the whole process, we insist on transparency and accountability for every dollar spent.
